The Wireless Gecko SLWRB4179B wireless radio board plugs into the mainboard provided with the EFR32xG21 Pro Kit (purchased separately). SLWRB4179B provides an ideal development environment to evaluate the EFP0104 wired buck Power Management IC (PMIC) and the EFR32xG21 wireless SoC. The radio board supports up to +10 dBm output power for 2.4 GHz wireless technologies, including Zigbee, Thread, and Bluetooth Low Energy. EFP0104 supports a wide range of batteries from 1.8 to 5.5 volts, providing flexibility for different battery technologies while improving the efficiency of the EFR32xG21 power consumption. With the supporting Simplicity Studio suite of tools, developers can take advantage of graphical wireless application development, mesh networking debug and packet trace, and visual energy profiling and optimization.

This radio board cannot be used stand-alone and requires a wireless mainboard which can be purchased separately.
